The Problem

Telling children to focus doesn't make them focused.

Instructions don't change state

A child who is dysregulated, distracted or arriving from the playground can't simply choose to focus. The nervous system needs to shift first.

Attention needs training

Like any skill, sustained attention improves with deliberate practice. FocusGrid gives you a repeatable, measurable way to develop it.

Transition moments are wasted

The two minutes after break or before a new lesson are often the hardest. FocusGrid turns that transition into productive state-setting time.

  • Pause/resume — setup and game on separate pages
  • Whole-class projector or 1:1 tablet use
