Mastermind

Masterminds bring educators together to share ideas, test strategies, and grow through collective insight — not in isolation.
They’re guided spaces for reflection, collaboration, and real-world problem solving across schools, subjects, and leadership levels.

MindMaps Masterminds are designed to bring together teachers, subject leads, and school leaders who want to think beyond their own classrooms and co-create practical solutions that strengthen whole-school culture.

Each mastermind is a facilitated, small-group space where participants explore live challenges — from behaviour and assessment to wellbeing and curriculum design — through structured dialogue and peer coaching. Rather than one-way training, these sessions work through shared learning and collective accountability: every voice contributes, every story becomes a case study, and every meeting ends with an action worth testing.

Themes vary by term and may include:

• Subject leadership and curriculum intent

• Behaviour, motivation, and emotional culture

• Staff wellbeing and workload

• Communication, feedback, and difficult conversations

What makes Masterminds different is the focus on community over compliance. Participants leave not just with new strategies, but with a network of colleagues who understand their challenges, speak their language, and share their commitment to progress.

Participation is by registration or invitation. Groups are carefully matched to ensure meaningful discussion and sustained collaboration over time.

01. Leadership Masterminds

For headteachers, deputies, and senior leaders shaping culture from the top.
These sessions focus on strategic thinking, communication, and emotional leadership — exploring how to balance vision, wellbeing, and accountability across a whole school.
Leaders share real challenges, test ideas in a supportive space, and leave with clearer direction and renewed perspective.

02. Subject Lead Circles

For subject and phase leaders who want to move from managing subjects to inspiring them.
Each circle explores curriculum design, assessment, and team development through reflective dialogue and peer feedback.
It’s a collaborative space to align intent, implementation, and impact — and to rediscover the joy of leading learning, not just administering it.

03. Wellbeing Cohorts

For any staff member passionate about building calmer, more connected classrooms and teams.
These cohorts focus on mindset, emotional literacy, and sustainable workload strategies — blending coaching conversations with wellbeing practices that actually fit the rhythm of school life.
They’re a shared space for teachers to refill their cup, not just share how empty it’s become.
